Joss Legal was founded by Cassandra Joss, a lawyer passionate about changing the way that you get legal assistance, and really getting the best outcome for her clients.
Legal Practice Director – Cassandra Joss
Cassandra is passionate about getting the best outcome for her clients. Cassandra takes a very client focused approach to practice and is very caring and compassionate with all of her clients. Cassandra has appeared on behalf of clients in the Family Court of Western Australia, The Magistrates Court, The District Court, The Supreme Court, The Federal Circuit Court of Australia and The Children’s Court.
Cassandra graduated from Murdoch University with a bachelor of laws and a bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Cassandra is currently undertaking her Masters in Family Law, completing her research thesis at Murdoch University.
Prior to establishing Joss Legal, Cassandra worked for a premier family law firm, on a wide range of matters, including complex property and parenting matters.
Cassandra also has experience working in general practice in a wide range of law, giving her very diverse legal knowledge.
Cassandra is actively involved in the community which includes volunteering her time as a coach for her local netball club.
Joss Legal practices with four key principles, they are; affordable, professional, caring and practice in new law.
Solicitor – Sarah Gresham
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University in 2017 and joined Joss Legal as a paralegal in October 2018. Sarah was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 2 November 2018 and now practises as a Solicitor at Joss Legal.
Whilst completing her degrees, Sarah was an active member of the university community, including a role as editor of a university publication and involvement in leadership and mentor programs. In 2018, Sarah obtained her postgraduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Australian National University whilst understudying Senior Lawyers in the area of Family Law and Wills & Estates.
Sarah has worked with a number of Community Legal Centres in Perth, primarily, in Family Law, Migration Law and Women’s legal rights. During and post university Sarah then worked in boutique Family Law and Wills and Estate Planning practice, before joining the Joss Legal team in October 2018.
Sarah is passionate about ensuring that all members of our society have access to justice and she wants to ensure that those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable receive the support they need when engaging with the law and justice system.
Sarah is diligent and enthusiastic about obtaining the best results for our clients. Sarah takes an empathetic client-focussed approach by being caring, down-to-earth and approachable.
Sarah is looking forward to working closely with Cassandra Joss, Joss Legal’s Practice Director to expand her skills and knowledge as a solicitor.
The Joss Legal team are supported by Natasha Barton an outstanding Paralegal. Tarsh is completing her law degree at Murdoch university and is passionate about helping client’s. Tarsh is looking forward to completing her degree and being admitted as a solicitor in 2019.
Elle-Louise Cashmore is the administrative wizz behind the scenes at Joss Legal. Elle-Louise has years of experience working in law firms providing administrative and management assistance. Elle-Louise prioritizes providing outstanding service to all Joss Legal clients.
